He started his underground career in the phone business in 1986. He handled installation and repair of telephone lines for a major services provider. In 1992, he gained additional expertise by overseeing the construction installation of new copper and fiber optic lines.
In 2015, he launched Precise Locating Services, Inc. because he felt there was a better way to provide reliable locating services to private and public entities. Over his career he realized that poor field drawings cost companies and projects a lot time and money. He knew he could provide better service, on-time and on-budget. He utilizes the uses latest technologies in GPR (ground penetrating radar) and EM (electromagnetic locators).
He provides locating services for water, sewer, phone, power, cable, gas and fiber optic lines.
