Andrew Browne launched Precept Wine in 2003 after garnering an extensive wine sales background including Southern Wine & Spirits, Chateau St. Jean, Associated Vintners, Corus Brands, and Constellation. He took Precept Wine from sales of zero to 300,000 cases in its first five years, and today it is the Northwest’s second largest wine company.
Mike Williamson, COO/CFO, oversees the day-to-day operations of Precept Wine. Williamson, a former CPA with Ernst & Young, brings the company a wealth of experience in corporate management, operations and finance. Past appointments in the wine industry include CEO of Long Shadows Vintners from 2003-2009; VP Finance and NW Operations for Canandaigua Wine from 2001-2002; and from 1998-2001, CFO/COO for Corus Brands, Inc., then Washington State’s second largest wine company.
Phil Kazanjian is an integral member of the Precept Wine team. Joining the company in 2003, he guided and managed the company’s financial and accounting departments for more than a decade. In 2015, he transitioned into his current operations role managing supply and demand planning, inventory, purchasing, warehouse operations, Oregon winemaking and production, compliance and IT.
Mr. Brewer joined Precept Wine in 2005 after serving as an international produce brokerage executive for Dole. He is deeply connected to Northwest agribusiness and brings expertise in import/export affairs. Brewer spearheads logistics and international sales for all of Precept’s wines and is currently engaged in business on five continents.
Mr. Minick is the founder of Willow Crest Estate Winery and a third-generation Washington grower. His knowledge of Northwest agricultural land holdings, his roots in farming and deep relationships in the wine industry have made him an invaluable company asset.

Precept Wine is searching for a dynamic Public Relations & Communications Manager to work with our passionate team and extraordinary portfolio of brands. He or she will direct the company’s communications strategy and will develop trade and consumer communications initiatives at all levels of the company. The right candidate will have the ability to use their public relations skills and their journalistic knowledge to further grow and develop the reputation of Precept Wine and its wineries. The ideal person will possess extensive contacts and relationships in the wine public relations world, both in trade and lifestyle publications at local and national levels
Serves as a key liaison for state wine and grower commissions, travel organizations and trade interests affecting the wine industry.
Provide support on copywriting for all company-based outlets: newsletters, website, labels, flyers, POS materials, etc.
Oversee, with collaboration of brand managers, select winery and company social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Works with brand managers to activate production of acclaim-specific marketing materials, including acclaim sell sheets, shelf talkers, and educational materials.
Refreshes and audits information about the company and its brands on third-party pages, such as Google, Yelp, and wine alliance sites.
Available to work weekdays, weekends, evenings as required by events and business travel.
