In 2006 Prairie's Edge was formed. The first years were mainly about growing organic plants of all types and free ranging chickens. As we grew we gained from hands on experience knowledge about how organic fertilizers and feed worked. We found that organically fed plants and animals grew better and are better for the planet. Soon we were meeting many different people who were looking for organic products but couldn't find a reliable source. That's when we started supplying organic fertilizers to our customers. Since that time the sustainable farming movement has increased exponentially. Today we provide organic products, of all types, to many varied markets. From small local farmers to institutions we have experience and background in many different "industries", of different sizes, that have varied needs for organic products.
