I’d love to help your practice. I’m a veterinary practice management consultant with over twenty years of experience in the veterinary profession. In 2014, I founded my own consulting firm, Practice Moxie. Drawing on a wide variety of expertise, I focus on leadership development, veterinary team training, and the overall success of the veterinary practice by improving the veterinary work environment. As a native Floridian, I prefer working in Florida as much as I can, but I work with practices across the country. My true passion is helping practice owners, managers, and teams grow and practice their own Moxie! Coaching is a relationship where various interactions such as dialogues and tasks are structured to help individuals and organizations understand their current realities and develop an organized/systematic action plan that leads to desired results. Coaching is not cheerleading; coaching is a caring and structured experience of unlocking an individual’s potential in order to achieve maximum performance. Coaching is a self-driven process. The coach takes ownership and writes his/her own action plan. He or she must be accountable and own what is created. The coach helps the coach envision what success looks like, but the coach takes ownership for results. Activities that promote self-awareness such as watching video of him/herself, exercises such as discussions that help “name that fear,” self-assessments, using timers, feedback sessions and reviewing survey results I’d love to help your practice.
