Northern California’s Sonoma and Napa Counties, with more than 600 wineries, is one of the finest wines producing areas in the United States. This fertile area is also home to Power Industries, Inc. Power Industries’ history begins in 1951 when the company founders, encouraged by a booming timber and agricultural economy, opened a small bearing and power transmission distributorship. The small store was really no more than a cramped storage room. From these humble beginnings they served the area’s thriving industrial businesses with an inventory of bearings, industrial belts, and chain. By 1955 the business had grown so large they had to find a new location. They moved to a larger location and continued to grow the business. Since the, the area’s robust economy allowed the firm to continue to expand into new geographic areas as well as adding many new product offerings. Today, Power Industries’ two industrial outlets offer a full line of industrial products. They service a wide range of customers including wineries, original equipment manufacturers, food processors, pharmaceutical, optical, agricultural and lumber mills. Why Power Industries Power Industries, founded in 1951, is an industrial distributor specializing in bearings, power transmission, fluid power, and hose and fittings, representing the premier manufacturers in these areas. Power Industries currently operates from two locations in Northern California; Napa and Santa Rosa with a total warehouse space consisting of approximately 20,000 square feet. We operate our own fleet of delivery vehicles from each branch. Power Industries is a member of the Industrial Distributors Cooperative, an organization dedicated to strengthening its independent distributor members through cooperative buying programs and information. Power Industries is also a member of the Power Transmision Distributors Association, and international trade association and the Western Association of Industrial Distributors, a regional association promoting industrial distribution in the Western United States Power Industries is dedicated to meeting the changing needs of our industrial and manufacturing customers. As we enter into the second half of our first century of service and progress, this commitment and progressive attitude will serve to meet the growing needs and demands of our company and our partners. Power Industries maintains a staff of specialists who work with our supplier partners to provide the technical expertise necessary to improve productivity by specifying the proper component or system, eliminating waste or redundancies in inventory, and bringing the latest developments, products, and systems to the manufacturing process. In addition to technical specialists on staff, Power Industries maintains a network of factory specialists available to bring new product and process developments which result in cost savings and productivity increases. Inoxpa, founded in Banyoles, Spain, specializes in the manufacturing of stainless steel components for the food, dairy, pharmaceutical and wine processing industries.
