Mission Statement The Port Charlotte Bandits Football & Cheerleading Program was established in 1988 and continues to inspire young athletes today. The mission of Port Charlotte Bandits is to enable children to benefit from participation in team sports, in a safe and structured environment, while maintaining a balance of education, athletics and team work. Through this active participation, the Port Charlotte Bandits programs teach fundamental values, skills and knowledge that children will use throughout their lives. Port Charlotte Bandits requires all participants to maintain academic standard and is committed to instilling life long standards of teamwork, dedication and a superior work ethic. It was 1988 when a group of parents got together to form a Port Charlotte Pop Warner team. This team would be a program that would help build teamwork, confidence and a love of sports in many football and cheerleaders. Proceeds from this event will help support the travels for championship wins for the Port Charlotte Bandits Football and Cheer.
