He overseas every aspect of the cemetery, funeral home and cremation center. Brent was a founding member of the Beaches Roteract Club, provides practical experience and internships for students in the Funeral Service program at Florida State College of Jacksonville, spends time volunteering at The Players Community Senior Center, and also The Mission House in Jacksonville Beach. Jacque Headrick, Owner, manages the office at Ponte Vedra Valley. She also helps families with their cemetery needs, headstones, and assists with funeral services. She is the niece of founding owner, Patricia West. Jacque has spent time volunteering in classrooms, the Players Community Senior Center, and also organized two support groups at Ponte Vedra Valley – Parents With Hope and Lilies of the Valley. When death occurs, your loved one is carefully transported to our funeral home by our professional funeral staff, as we are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to answer your calls. Brent Headrick, Ponte Vedra Valley’s licensed funeral director, then meets with your family to learn about your loved one and the type of funeral services you would like to have based on your religious or personal preferences. We help you make personalized selections for services, merchandise and a final resting place for your loved one. When you select Ponte Vedra Valley, you have the comfort of knowing your loved one never leaves our establishment, giving us the unique ability to personally care for your family. Ponte Vedra Valley meets with your family to arrange everything from the visitation and/or viewing, to the funeral service, and finally the cemetery. The visitation and/or viewing can be held in our beautiful chapel, with modern technology for the creation and display of personalized Memorial DVD’s including music. During this time, Ponte Vedra Valley’s kitchen and reception area are also available for the comfort of your family and friends. We will help you arrange the funeral service in our chapel, your place of worship or any other location your family may select. You can also choose to use Ponte Vedra Valley’s family owned and operated funeral home for a reception following the services. Finally, we assist you with selecting the final resting place for your loved one. Ponte Vedra Valley has various options for burial or memorialization available on our grounds; or, we can arrange for burial in other cemeteries in and outside of the area. Ponte Vedra Valley meets with your family to arrange everything from the visitation and/or viewing, along with the graveside service either at our cemetery or another location. Ponte Vedra Valley also offers an Immediate Burial Service for families who wish to have a burial with a graveside service. There is no visitation or viewing with an immediate burial. Ponte Vedra Valley is available when death occurs away from home. We arrange all aspects of care for your loved one – whether death occurred out-of-town or in a foreign county.
