Police Survivors Group was formed due to a recognized need for a transparent and fiscally responsible organization with a mission to provide financial assistance to the families of law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Each member of our organization firmly and fully believes in this mission and we are dedicated to its successful implementation. As a charitable organization, we take our responsibilities to the public and our supporters very seriously.
Our goal is to relieve these families of some of the burden of financial worries that they will suffer from by providing assistance. Police Survivors Group is committed to these families and our mission.
Helping the Families of Those
Police Survivors Group Mission
Our mission is to provide financial assistance to the families of sworn law enforcement officers who have been killed in the line of duty.
Police Survivors Group was founded in 2017 as a national 501(c)3 charity by a former police officer who identified a need for a transparent and fiscally responsible police survivor organization dedicated to providing aid to the families of the men and women of law enforcement who make the ultimate sacrifice. Our founder, Board of Directors, and volunteers have one focus; maximizing assistance to the families of those who have lost their lives in the line of duty through efficient and responsible use of donations. We minimize overhead and non-essential expenditures in order to provide maximum assistance to those in need.
Who We Help
Police Survivors Group focuses on direct aid to the immediate family members of sworn Police Officers of local, state, or federal agencies who have died in the line of duty. Our goal is to be here for the spouses, children, and other immediate family members who are devastated by the loss of their loved one. We provide direct financial assistance for funeral expenses, mortgage payments, rent, car payments, utility bills, educational assistance, groceries, and any other legitimate financial need by way of a financial contribution shortly after the death of their loved one.
