PoBros, Inc. has been in business since 2003 as a creator of original video games for home computers and mobile devices. The company was founded by Alex and Miguel Portilla, who have more than three decades of combined industry experience and have been involved in developing games from concept to market – including major AAA titles. Alex and Miguel began creating computer games in the early eighties with their first home computer, a Commodore Vic-20. Their lifelong involvement with the craft has included working for notable companies such as Electronic Arts, Activision and MTV Networks. The Portilla brothers are the founders and sole owners of PoBros, Inc. Alex Portilla was born in Miami Florida (1968) and has been making video games since the early 1980′s. He was introduced to video games through the RCA Studio II console in the late 1970′s, where he played pong and bowling. He first learned how to program on a Commodore Vic 20, using the the popular book series BASIC Computer Games. Soon thereafter his father hired a tutor to further teach him how to program. His first original release was a BBS coded in Applesoft Basic, along with his brother Miguel, (on a Franklin Ace 1100) circa 1983. Over the last two years (2012-2014) the Portilla brothers co-founded and spearheaded the Skyjoy Interactive studio in Miami. Their responsibilities included designing Super Kid Canon, building the team and managing the company. The Portilla brothers have since moved on and are now searching for their next big thing.
