Born in Quito – Ecuador, she moved to the US in 1988. After her first son was born and diagnosed with severe Autism, her life changed forever! Since then, she has dedicated her years to learn, advocate and attempt in many ways to help every individual affected directly or indirectly by this cause. In order to help collect the funds needed to build this center, Estela created, with her friend, co-creator and world known artist Paul Jauregui, a line of unique and cute plugs – Plug Into My Life – After I was devastated with Sean’s diagnose and all the efforts to provide him with a better quality of life, I decided to make a difference, to leave a footprint of something positive in these great, unique, loving and unselfish human beings who are happy with the minimum – just a little bit of tender care and love”! I have three children who apparently are ok , kids are always changing they are never ok !! but I saw in Estela´s vision a fantastic way to pursue healing through my work, to tap into a mind shift of our peers and pitch in as we are passing by in the great world. PIML works with companies throughout the world which specialize in assisting individuals with disabilities with achieving training and employment goals. They manufacture products for our firm and hire uniquely able individuals to be part of their team. Partners offer their own products by labeling them for PIML & hiring individuals with uniquely able abilities to work in their company - Creating jobs and compensating them financially. Our products
