The Fashion Mall was built across the street from the more established Broward Mall and when it opened they even contained many of the same stores as each other. In ten years time it became a ghost mall and eventually closed. The property is now scheduled to be developed into a large-scale, multi-purpose consumer facility. I was given the chance to photograph the interior of the mall, and in doing so, hope to preserve its beauty as well as give a glimpse into its former glory, and explore the haunting ambiance of these abandoned spaces.
