After reaching the age at which I could use my dad’s power tools I started to dabble in what I could do with wood. I started with life lessons in what not to do with power tools very early which leads me to my current expertise in the knowledge of how each action in woodworking can feasibly go wrong and being prepared in case of that event. I have now started this site Planked Woodworking and Fine Carpentry following the creation of my business named the same. I tried to focus on furniture over the years but obviously this hobby is diverse, to say the least, which has lead to porches, built ins, furniture repair and refinish, and to secret rooms. Planked Woodworking will focus primarily on what I am currently working on or available to do for those who desire greater standards than cardboard furniture has to offer. Today, creating heirloom furniture is what I desire to be my primary business or what ever leads me to be continually challenging my woodworking skills. 6 years in business
