After working at other salons, large and small, I graduated with my AA degree in 2006 and opened Pixies Salon to allow me additional time with my family. Now Pixies Salon has been open for more than ten years, I can't believe quickly time has gone. I couldn't be happier to work with such an amazing team. I started my career in Michigan and have been doing great hair for more than 15 years. I love the hair industry because it is always changing.  One of my specialties is foil highlights. I have an eye for great detail and thanks to a little "OCD" you will never leave my chair feeling "uneven". Of course, if that's what you want, you'll have the most meticulous uneven haircut possible! I have traveled and lived across the world, from Ireland, where my father and my unique name are from, to Costa Rica and everywhere between. The experiences and people I have met, combined with what I have seen, are motivation for my work. I love being a hair stylist, and have done it for more than 9 years. I love engaging in intellectual conversations about life in general and what makes “you” tick. I feel this helps me in my career, being a good communicator. I enjoy doing foil highlights and giving that perfect sun kissed look. I can cut a mean short hairstyle, but can let the locks flow with a slight trim when needed. My other time is spent with my gorgeous  son, playing in the sand at the beach or swinging at the park I have been in the business for more than 15 years now, and have been a manager at a top Boston salon. I'm originally from Rhode Island, and I loved the city, but I enjoy the slower life of Florida.  love doing different hairstyles, but corrective color, spiral perms, color, foil highlights and lowlights are at the top of my list. Making people feel good about themselves is something else that I enjoy about my work. Most people don’t get the chance to see the benefits of the work they do, but I get to see the end result. When a client leaves with a smile, it makes me happy as well. I have been styling hair for more than 15 years, and I love making people feel great about themselves. I am always learning new techniques in the industry to ensure my clients look and feel their best. Originally from New York, where I was trained and licensed in hair,  I worked in "Midtown" Manhattan. That was a great learning experience with the world of fashion and design at my fingertips. I attended many classes in the area to keep up with ever changing styles. I frequently visit New York and my family, and I somehow incorporate a learning adventure. I have been a master stylist for more than 20 years, but I will continue to learn new techniques and styles. I enjoy doing it all! Pixies Salon offers a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.
