Pittman Transport, LLC was the conception of, Marvin Pittman, while in his senior year at, Auburn University. The hypothesis was to construct a logistics and transportation company, whose foundation lies in his degree of study and his transportation experience. The vision is to utilize owner-operators, independent contractors, and carriers to reduce the company�s total operating ratio. The strategy is rooted in having a semi non-asset based logistics and transportation company. The purpose is to provide on time pick-ups and delivery, with a logistical emphasis on customer efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness. Pittman Transport, LLC located in Jacksonville Florida, is in the business of providing affordable, truckload services to selected destinations through out the Southeastern United States. Our service approach emphasizes the safe, expedient, and on- time handling of domestic cargo. Pittman Transport, LLC has been certified by the Florida Minority Suppliers Development Council and is a member of The Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association. Marvin Pittman started driving trucks in 1998 when he got his commercial drivers licenses to earn money to finish his Logistics degree at Auburn University. After graduating in 2001, Marvin worked as a dispatcher for a contract carrier for Walmart grocery. Marvin left this company to purchase his first truck to work toward starting Pittman Transport, LLC which currently hauls freight for some of the countries largest companies.
