Since 1999, Pier Productions has been creating entertainment content for all ages. Pier Productions is an Orlando based, small independent and creative company that specializes in quality over quantity. Formed in 1999, Pier Productions has produced a wide scope of video and interactive projects from Star Wars Weekends for the Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm, to a promotional campaign for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, to the marriage of 2D and 3D animation with live action for a Brooks and Dunn music video. We are creative individuals who pride ourselves on not cutting corners when it comes to meeting the client’s needs. We are all driven by a shared passion and love for the industry and pride in our work Our diversity and knowledge of film and video production allows us to utilize a wide range of storytelling tools and various mediums from animation, to High Definition video, to film, to the internet. Help You We are a small team that mostly utilizes the deep and talented well of freelancers that Central Florida has to offer. In 2010, Universal Studios Orlando opened their latest area of the Islands of Adventures theme park entitled the Wizarding World of Harry Potter based on the famous franchise. We provided editing for various events leading up to and including the opening day extravaganza. The work took a chunk of the year and culminated with visits from Potter stars Daniel Radcliff and Emma Watson. Since 2010, NBC/Golf Channel has turned to Pier Productions for various editing needs. I’ve edited several shows for them including Big Break, Playing Lessons, Golf Channel Academy, and Golf Now. I’ve also edited on location for them at the 2013 Phoenix Open and the 2014 US Open. To celebrate the opening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Disney held their Star Wars Galactic Nights celebration in December of 2017 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We provided video elements for the event. In early 2017, we helped Walt Disney World with Disney Dreamers Academy. The 4 day event brought hundreds of students to Disney to learn from the masters in their fields. We’ve really enjoyed being able to provide this service to Fox Sports and look forward to future shoots for them, and other clients. In 2016, the Walt Disney Company hired us to provide video and support for the yet to be opened Shanghai Disneyland Resort. The project involved providing edits for a series of shows that play at the Tomorrowland Stage at the park.
