The Peters Insurance Agency was started in Fairmont Minnesota in 1979. We are providers of insurance products for everyone from individuals, agricultural producers, and small businesses. The Peters Insurance Agency is an independent agency, representing different companies so we are able to tailor the best and most cost effective protection for our customers. We represent Fairmont Farmers Mutual Insurance Company, Progressive, Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company, Rural Community Insurance Services, and we have access to many specialty companies through numerous brokerage services. Anne and Bruce both have extensive background in areas other than the insurance industry. This gives our agency a perspective that most insurance agencies cannot provide. Anne spent many years working for the Department of Motor Vehicles in Nebraska which gives her unique knowledge of how that system works. Bruce was an active agricultural producer for decades, and also spent a number of years in the agricultural implement business.
