From the basement of his parents’ home, current CEO, Jack Albrecht, watched his dad build a business by replacing coal fired furnaces. Jack had a passion for the business and at an early age served many roles throughout his formative years as a sheet metal fabricator, delivery person and helping hand on project installs and service work. After completing his business degree at Xavier University, Jack was poised to be a stock broker. However, his dad called with an offer that he couldn’t refuse and the rest is history. Always a leader and strategic visionary, Jack knew the value of hiring good people. Today, Perfection’s tenure average is nearly 11 years which is evident by the numerous associates who have been with the company for 20, 30 and 40 plus years. Key to the continuous success of the business is the ability to not only retain good quality people but to hire the best in an ever growing company culture. Perhaps one of Jack’s key strategic initiatives was his entry into the service business in the early 1980’s. Because Perfection was a regional leader in the design build construction market, we committed to serving our customers in a long term partnership arrangement. Thus, the entry into the service business in the Cincinnati area was achieved. Always listening to customer needs, the service business soon grew with entries into markets in and around Cincinnati. Today, Perfection is a facility solutions provider servicing Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Indianapolis, Louisville, Lexington, Charleston, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville and Gainesville. Perfection Group not only operates in 6 states but runs 140 service vehicles and manages 220 associates. Perfection’s focus on customer requirements allowed the company to offer Performance Contracting solutions as early as the mid-1990’s. Focusing on existing customers and favorable legislation in the Ohio market, Perfection had significant success in the area of bundled solutions. Our design build capabilities were an excellent resource for large Energy Service Companies (ESCO’s) in the development of their sizeable customer projects. For a period of years in the early 2000’s, this model worked. However, the customer often needed more flexible models to meet their growing needs. Therefore, in 2009, Perfection officially launched their Green Building Solutions Business Unit. Today, Perfection has market leadership in their key business focus of County and Municipal Governments in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. With a resume of multiple city and county government agencies, Perfection has met all customer requirements and has achieved over 120% of our guarantee performance. Providing flexible and diverse solutions with expertise in financing arrangements are key to the success of these programs. Perfection has surely grown and evolved in the past 60 plus years and today is an industry leader that designs, installs and services mechanical and environmental systems focusing on energy-efficient facility operations for commercial, industrial and institutional customers. The Perfection Group Advantage Below are just some of the more recent ways our company has given back: year in business, Perfection took their environmental stewardship initiative to a new level and decided to focus 2016 on giving back to the community by raising funds and piloting a brand new Caregiver Program for the Alzheimer’s Association. Over the course of several months, the Perfection team hosted many events and fundraisers to support the Alzheimer’s Association and our project. Our associates gathered donations and raised money to fund the assembly of 2,000 gift bags for Alzheimer’s Caregivers, a brand new program the Alzheimer’s Association wanted to kickoff. The Alzheimer’s Association of Cincinnati wanted to find new ways of reaching out and supporting current Caregivers in the regional area, and our project was the perfect fit to help them pilot this new program. On November 6 Anniversary Associate Banquet, associates from every Perfection office gathered at Axis Bowling Alley in Newport, KY to put together the Caregiver bags. They were assembled with various comfort items, hand packed and tied with a personalized note by the Perfection team. The gift bags were then hand delivered by social workers through the Association to current Caregivers in the area. The remaining funds not used to assemble the gift bags were then presented to the Alzheimer’s Association National to help fund research for a cure — $25,202.87. The project in total brought in over $32,000 in support, and united our company under a common cause. 2016, Our company hosted a 10 hour-long blood drive at our Sharonville office location that resulted in close to 60 pints of blood being donated by associates, friends, family, vendors and customers. 2011 – 2012, Perfection hosted a Blood Drive at the Cincinnati office location. We located blood collection centers near our outlying offices and encouraged our associates to donate during this same week. Perfection’s goal was to collect 60 pints of blood company-wide which is over twice the Hoxworth average for a company the same size as Perfection. Company-wide, Perfection collected 75 pints of blood both years! The largest community service project that Perfection participated in was the Kids Against Hunger (KAH) pack on June 26, 2011. There were months of preparation that went into this project. Perfection associates formed a committee to help make this event a success. This project had two important pieces to it: Raising the money for KAH to purchase the supplies for the pack and supplying volunteers on the day of the pack to assemble to food packages. Perfection’s goal was to raise $15,000 and have 150 associates, business partners, families and friends pack at least 60,000 meals for children in Haiti. Perfection associates worked diligently to make this goal a reality and through personal donations, vendor, business partner donations and more, Perfection was able to raise over $26,000, far exceeding their original goal. Not only that, Perfection had 175 volunteers attend the service event and together we packed almost 100,000 meals in only 2 hours!! According to KAH, Perfection associates and friends provided one full year’s nutrition EACH for 265 children!
