We support our Businesses with  comprehensive rail logistics, fleet and  administrative services.  We manage a private fleet of covered hoppers and tank cars which operate in the U.S. and Canada.   We utilize industry leading rail software to leverage our rail expertise and operational capabilities. Perdue AgriBusiness' Feed Ingredient Merchandising group has access to multiple regions to better serve the spot buyer and seller. Each year, we handle more than 2 million tons of feed ingredients. We offer full forward contracting and hedging services. Further savings are afforded through efficient rail-to-truck transfer facilities for easier-to-manage, just-in-time shipment sizes. On average, we deliver 350 truckloads of ingredients each day. In addition to the truck business, Perdue AgriBusiness offers trading by rail, with a large modern fleet of rail cars at our disposal. We are able to send larger size cars with higher tonnages per car to our customers that take feed ingredients via the railroad, thereby lowering transportation costs.  Perdue AgriBusiness operates rail-to-truck transload stations in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, New York, Washington, Idaho, and Texas.  Our administrative offices are located in Maryland (Salisbury).
