PENSACOLA BEACH SONG FEST, INC., EVERGREEN

After working with AHERO and their amazing program during the Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival this past October, it was a no brainer to see the opportunities we could provide for our Veterans by working together. It filled our heart to see that we were striving toward the same goal of bringing enjoyment to others. The PBSF does it by celebrating the creators of music that have the ability to express emotion and healing through song. AHERO provides outdoor adventure and fellowship to Veterans who have suffered greatly on behalf of all Americans. The recipients of the proceeds from this event will be presented to AHERO (America's Heroes Enjoying Recreation Outdoors), whose goal is to heal the physical and psychological wounds of war and military service. And to Operation Song, a well know organization that pairs professional songwriters with Veterans, active military and their families to help them tell their stories through song and to also heal the psychological wounds of war. The goals are the same … to support our Veterans and give them back the opportunities they deserve. We are delighted to announce the host venues for the weekend. Pensacola Beach Community Church will be the host for Friday with the grand finale to be held at the Elks Lodge #497 on Saturday. Together we all are striving to bring awareness to our disabled Veterans and provide the help that is needed for them to enjoy a better life. Friday night is donations only! Saturday Show $25 General Admission and $50 VIP The VIP ticket holder is invited to the Meet and Greet @ 4:30 D.a.T Sauce Gumbo/Bloody Mary gathering located on the 3rd floor of the Elks Lodge. Our Mission The Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival celebrates the creators of the music! Music education is an important part of our Festival. One of our goals is to bring the songwriters into the classroom to provide instruction and mentoring about the art of music. 2018 brings great news! We are so excited to announce that The Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival has joined hands with the Nashville Country Music Hall of Fame which will be hosting a workshop in three of our local schools. The program will include elementary and middle school students whose interest is in creative writing or music. Children will be encouraged to participate in the process of creating their own songs as well as taking the stage to perform their creations. This will give young students a chance to have a hands on experience with a professional writer in the art of songwriting. We would like to Welcome The North West Florida Gaurdian ad Litem Foundation, Inc to the 9th Annual Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival. The festival is in full support and appreciation of the mission of the NW Florida Gaurdian ad Litem Foundation, Inc. The mission for the Guardian ad Litem is to: Provide for the needs of abused, abandoned and neglected children and support the volunteer advocates in the Guardian ad Litem program. The NW Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation's sole purpose is to support the Guardian ad Litem program for the first judicial circuit (Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton). The GAL program is a state operated function of the 1st judicial circuit, the Foundation supports them in two ways, 1. Maintain a 'children in need fund' and 2. Support recruitment, retention and recognition of GAL volunteers. http://www.nwfgal.org Our Mission The Pensacola Beach Songwriters Festival celebrates the creators of the music!
