Established in 1987, Pelosi Wood Floors is a fourth generation flooring business started by Gene Pelosi’s grandfather. Back in the early 1920’s Gene’s grandfather, Gino Pelosi, immigrated to Washington DC from Italy establishing his wood flooring business (in Southeast Washington DC). He handed down his knowledge to Gene’s father, Gene Pelosi Sr., who took over his business and proceeded to pass on his knowledge of the trade to Gene Pelosi Jr., current owner of Pelosi Wood Floors, Inc. It continues to be an independently owned and operated family business proudly serving the greater Washington area.  In 2013, a four generation was added--Gene Pelosi III, or Gino, has joined the team to help run the business.
