Hi, welcome to Peeps and Eats! I’m Alex and I created Peeps and Eats to celebrate people, nutrition & creative food. My philosophy is that you should celebrate life to the fullest. To me, this means living a healthy lifestyle both mentally and physically by fueling your body with nutrient dense whole foods most of the time yet not feeling sorry for indulging in the sugary fun treats once in a while too. It’s all about all about B A L A N C E & listening to your body about what makes you feel good. When you start feeding your body real whole foods (Foods that are not processed and filled with gums or chemicals on a label you can’t pronounce) you start to feel better, sleep better, your skin starts to glow and your energy levels go up. I’m not saying give up those bad foods that give us a little joy – just don’t make fake food the majority of your diet. This is how I fell in love with meal prep. I realized that when I am hungry there is no in-between with being “fine” and “starving” for me. Having prepared nutritious meals ready to go in my fridge made it easy to satisfy my hunger and keep my lifestyle and body operating at it’s best. I started posting pictures of my food and people started asking if I would be able to cook for them. From there my meal prep and catering business was born. Social media is a beautiful thing.
