PEACOCK CLAY, LLC is a vibrant arts organization located in Historic Downtown Fort Pierce, Florida. Established by five visionary artists—Bridget Abernethy, Victoria Beck, Martha Cross, Eileen DiTullio, and Ginny Piech Street—Peacock Clay Collaborative serves as a dedicated studio space for both individual and group clay projects. This collaborative initiative provides a platform for fostering artistic expression through ceramics. Offering an array of educational opportunities such as classes, workshops, and open studio time, Peacock Clay caters to a wide range of participants from casual enthusiasts to serious artisans. Despite recent temporary closures due to smoke damage from a fire in December 2023, the collaborative remains committed to reopening and continuing its mission. The collective embraces a diverse blend of artistic experiences drawn from various influential locales including Cincinnati, Miami’s Coconut Grove, South Carolina’s Low Country, and Key West. This eclectic background is reflected in the unique art forms pursued by its founders, ranging from pottery to painting. In addition to studio activities, Victoria Beck offers specialized Art Therapy services for individuals and families, aligning creative pursuits with therapeutic outcomes. The artistic community at Peacock Clay extends beyond ceramics, engaging with broader local arts organizations such as Art Mundo while promoting communal enrichment through art. Based out of 203 North Second Street, PEACOCK CLAY, LLC stands as an integral part of Fort Pierce’s cultural landscape. Incorporated on July 13, 2015, and led by directors including Victoria Beck and Martha Cross, the organization continues to evolve, embracing both its artistic mission and the dynamic nature of creativity itself.
