Today PT, Jim Lowe and Brian Frisselle drove the number 77 Ford powered Dallara to a P10 finish at Watkins Glen. Paul drove the final stint taking over driving duties with 1 hour 22 minutes left in the six hour endurance race. Plan on seeing PT back with Lowe at Indy. Despite an early trip to the garage with less than 2 hours gone in the race, the #77 Doran Racing Ford Dallara came home in P7. Once in the garage the crew had to replace a coil and spark plugs to get the car back on track. Then fighting from several laps down, PT along with co-drivers Brian Frisselle, Burt Frisselle and Dr. Jim Lowe kept the car clean for the remaining 22 plus hours. But in a race that saw few cautions and that set a new DP-era record of 761 laps completed at Daytona International Speedway, the group could not come back from their early troubles.
