Recognition for his exceptional yacht interior design talents include the Judges’ Special Commendation for M/Y Blind Date in the World Superyacht Awards, three prestigious ShowBoats International awards – “Best Refit Award” for M/Y Inevitable, “Best Design Award” for M/Y Best in Show and “Best Refit Award” for M/Y Hellios2 – as well as several nominations for International Superyacht Society awards. Also noteworthy is his firm’s status as the first yacht interior design firm to become a Yacht Partner of the International Seakeepers Society. In addition to his experience in the yacht interior design industry, Patrick has designed some 35 aircrafts for corporate clients, VIPs and heads of state. Patrick is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Certification and licensed by the state of Florida. He has also served as a board member for the Marine Industries Association of South Florida. With more than 18 years experiences, Stewart is field operations manager for Patrick Knowles Designs. As field operations manager, he serves as liaison between Patrick Knowles Designs and all shipyards the company is engaged with in developing new-build megayacht interior design projects. He is also responsible for overseeing and maintaining communications between the shipyards and Patrick Knowles Designs to ensure that the demands of the build schedule are being met. Bridges’ career includes many years of experience in construction, development and industrial engineering, most recently as head of his own construction and development company in Tampa, Florida. Nancy C. Kehl, Business Manager of Patrick Knowles Designs, is responsible for the financial management and implementation of all new construction and refit projects, from formulation of the initial client meeting and contractual agreements, thru the proposal, purchasing, billing and delivery process. Nancy is a full charge bookkeeper and with her staff manages accounts receivable/payable, general ledger work through financial statements and financial planning for Patrick Knowles Designs. Her responsibilities also encompass management of the various insurance policies for the firm; casualty, general liability, workers compensation, as well as the implementation of all employee insurance and benefits. Nancy hails from Stamford, Ct. and attended Sacred Heart University, Bridgeport, Ct. before relocating to Fort Lauderdale 35 years ago and joining the United Parcel Service’s Truck Leasing division as an Administrator. After 5 years she left to begin her 30 year career in the marine industry, beginning with a 7 year stint as an Administrative /Accounting Supervisor for Chris Craft Industries. For the past 22 years she and Patrick Knowles have worked together in the yacht interior design industry and assisted Patrick when he founded his own firm – Patrick Knowles Designs. She currently resides in Fort Lauderdale with her son Michael and her two Jack-Russell pups! She enjoys cooking, gardening and travelling in her free time. Nancy and her extended family in New York and Connecticut are actively engaged in fundraising efforts for The Lustgarten Foundation to help cure Pancreatic Cancer.
