continues to showcase Iowa's history, people, places, agriculture and industry. With fond memories of my high school athletic days, this companion book to the alphabet book, allowed me to share part of Iowa girls' six-on-six basketball history. As a proud graduate of Loras College, my fondness and appreciation for Dubuque is expressed on the beautifully illustrated page of 8 paddlefish swimming at the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium. My pleasure of running is also found on the final page of 100 marathon runners. Completing the Marathon-to-Marathon with my sister, Janet, confirmed the fact that Iowa does offer fun, friendly, fast and flat marathon courses!
