PATMOS PRESS, LLC is an established publishing company based in Holly Hill, Florida. Founded with the vision of Father George Papadeas in the late 1950s, the company was created to meet the needs of Greek-American Orthodox communities for a companion book to The Beautiful Orthodox Holy Week and Pascha Services. In 1963, Patmos Press issued its first major publication, 'Holy Week Easter,' featuring a New English Translation, which has since become the Gold Standard for Orthodox Holy Week services. Father George Papadeas also compiled 'The Divine Liturgy of St. John The Chrysostom' in 1968 to enhance parishioners' understanding and participation in Orthodoxy liturgical practices, further solidifying its role as a staple across Orthodox Churches globally. Operating initially out of Palm Coast, Florida since its incorporation on January 28, 2014, Patmos Press expanded its offerings over the years to include works like 'The Akathist Hymn' and 'Why did She Cry.' The company continues to focus on producing materials that enrich Orthodox traditions while also exploring topics such as the vasilopita coin tradition.
