He is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Family Practice and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Boyett is also board certified in addiction through the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM). And also serves on the Governor of Alabama’s Alabama Opioid Overdose and Addiction Council. In 2009, he implemented an addiction program for the treatment of opioid dependence, called Pathway Partners. Due to it’s success it is now a national addiction and dependency treatment program called Pathway Healthcare where Dr. Boyett serves as the Chief Medical Officer and it has been changing lives in very real and visible ways. Dr. Boyett ensures that Boyett Health Services and Pathway Healthcare is constantly evolving and improving to keep up with the demands of the latest healthcare standards. He is dedicated to remaining on the cutting edge of technology and is a proctor to many medical and dental students seeking professional training. After their wedding, she and Dr. Brent Boyett moved to Hamilton, AL. Since that time, she has provided private contracted anesthesia at North Mississippi Medical Center in both Hamilton and Tupelo as well as coverage at Helen Keller Hospital in Muscle Shoals. She administers conscious sedation to patients at Boyett Health Services for oral surgery and for anxiety control during routine dental procedures and also serves as the Executive Practice Manager at BHS. She helped train and lead the team of staff at Boyett Health Services who become researchers involved with new treatments for addictive disorders for Pathway Partners, the addiction treatment side of Boyett Services. Now Pathway Partners is known as Pathway Healthcare, a national out-patient addiction and dependency treatment center. Sandra not only serves as one of their founders but is also an integral part of their training process and passionate in the pursuit of helping people with addictive disorders who had seemingly been abandoned by the mainstream healthcare system. We are a team of specialists who are committed to treating our patients with respect and removing the stigma of drug and alcohol addiction, dependency and other substance abuse disorders. Pathway Healthcare believes that disease and that drug dependence and other substance use disorders can be conquered.
