Earlier in his career, Craig was an executive in two food industry multinationals – Fonterra and AVEBE – both global leaders in their sectors. Craig was President of AVEBE North America Region with added responsibility for AVEBE South America food ingredients. Prior to this, he was an executive in Asia for 12 years, with functions including Market Development Manager, China for Fonterra and Commercial Director, Asia Pacific for AVEBE, becoming the youngest leader of AVEBE’s largest ($100 million+) revenue division. A biochemist by training, Craig developed food products technical expertise via R&D and technical sales functions early in his career. He has strong cross-cultural skills from international roles and specific expertise in human capital development. Grew AVEBE Asia Pacific food ingredients added value by $20 million on $100 million revenue. Grew market share from 42% to 50%.
