In 1955, Wilford T. Parent founded Parent & Sons Construction in Vero Beach, a family owned and operated business, proudly built on a foundation of uncompromising quality, integrity, and excellence. In 1972, Paul Parent took the helm, growing the solid reputation for unparalleled construction that is Parent Construction, Inc. Parent Construction's fine building heritage is evidenced throughout the county ranging from custom residential homes to commercial projects, including: the original St. Edward's Upper School, Dodgertown & Dodger Pines Golf Clubhouse, Como Oil Company, and the United Way building, to name a few. Guarding the standard of excellence that defined the area's character and charm, Parent Construction is the only remaining one of the original four builders still crafting homes in the prestigious barrier island enclave of John's Island.
