I am a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) who is currently pursuing the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. Not so long ago I was a FNP student and new FNP who was filled with many questions about what to expect and what should I do next. Through much trial and error, many of my questions were answered. It is my hope to provide some useful tips and suggestions to both new FNP’s and FNP students to help answer those questions. We are in a profession where we are constantly learning and asking questions is commonplace– but it is nice to have some help along the way.
