Overland Missions, Inc., founded in 1999 by Philip and Sharon Smethurst, is a non-profit organization dedicated to evangelizing neglected and isolated regions worldwide. Operating primarily through its Expeditions division, the organization deploys teams of believers from various countries to communicate the Gospel in remote areas. Overland Missions' approach includes sending reconnaissance teams to identify and partner with local church leaders possessing visionary insights into their geographical domains (100km x 100km sectors).
