Leslie was previously Outset’s Chief Operating Officer and an Executive-in-Residence at Warburg Pincus. Prior to Outset, she was Executive Vice President at Lutonix, a cardiovascular medical device company acquired by CR Bard. Prior to Lutonix, Leslie served as Chief Business Officer of AccessClosure, a vascular closure company acquired by Cardinal Health. Before joining AccessClosure, she was the Vice President, Marketing for FoxHollow Technologies, helping to architect the strategy and commercial infrastructure that led to a successful IPO and subsequent acquisition by ev3/Covidien. Leslie’s management experience also includes senior leadership positions at Cytyc Corporation and breast cancer diagnostics company Pro-Duct Health, Inc., which was acquired by Cytyc. She began her medical device career at Guidant Corporation in new product global marketing. Leslie is currently a board member of Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSII). She received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and her MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. Jeff brings over 30 years of experience in all areas of financial management, including capital events/IPOs, SEC reporting and compliance, M&A and investor relations. Prior to Outset, he was the CFO of Sonitus Medical Inc., a venture backed medical device company. Prior to Sonitus, he was the CFO of Enobia Pharma Corp., a venture and private equity backed biopharmaceutical company purchased by Alexion Pharmaceutical in an all-cash transaction with a potential value in excess of $1 billion. Jeff has held finance leadership roles in successful public offerings and follow-on offerings with Volcano Corporation and Thoratec Corporation where he served as VP Finance and Corporate Controller. He has also held senior finance and operations positions in a variety of industries including computer disc drives, resort management and alternative energy. He began his career at Deloitte, Haskins and Sells, a global firm providing auditing, accounting and advisory services. Jeff has a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Hayward. Martin is a med-tech executive with 25+ years of progressive, cross-functional and multi-cultural leadership experience in operations, product development, and quality assurance of class I-III medical devices including IVDs, capital equipment and instrumentation. In addition to a broad global perspective, Martin brings to Outset a solid track record in operations strategy planning and execution including end-to-end supply chain optimization, LEAN transformation, new product introduction, and M&A collaboration in highly regulated supply networks in the US, Europe, Asia and Mexico. Most recently he served as Vice President North America Operations and Global S&OP at Abbott Rapid Dx (formerly Alere) where was responsible for a global supply network of rapid diagnostic test factories. Previously, he served as WW Vice President Manufacturing Management at Becton Dickinson where he led electromechanical and instrumentation manufacturing operations as well as the synergy planning and PMO execution process during the $12.2B USD merger with Carefusion. Prior experience includes a number of leadership roles in operations, quality and product engineering at Carefusion, Smiths Medical, Greatbatch, Alcon, and Ethicon (J&J). Martin holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas and a MBA from the Marshall School of Business at USC. Chad brings extensive experience leading organizations in developing and executing strategies to commercialize innovative medical products. Prior to joining Outset Medical, Chad was Division Vice President, Heart Failure Therapies at Abbott, responsible for globally marketing the Mechanical Circulatory Support (formerly Thoratec) and CardioMEMS franchises. Before Abbott, Chad worked at the consulting firm McKinsey & Company, where he served companies across the device and biotech spaces on a broad range of commercial and corporate strategy topics. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Georgetown University, a master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from The Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania. Jamie Lewis brings 14 years of experience leading and developing sales organizations that sell to clinical and executive level customers. Prior to joining Outset Medical, Jamie served as a Vice President at Intuitive Surgical, manufacturer of the da Vinci Surgical Robotics System. In this position she led 60 member U.S. team and regional key customer team through significant growth and expansion across both the capital and clinical business units. Prior to Intuitive Surgical, Jamie held a variety of sales positions at Stryker Endoscopy where she started her medical device career. Jamie received her BS in Communication and Journalism from The Ohio State University, where she was an Academic All-Big Ten and 4-year starter for The Ohio State Women’s Basketball Team. Julie is a 25-year veteran working in regulated industries. She was previously the Global Head of Complaint Management and Director of Quality Assurance at Carl Zeiss Meditec, Inc. Julie’s prior experience includes positions as Director of Quality Assurance at AFx and Product Assurance Coordinator at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Co. Julie has an extensive background in product development, quality, regulatory, clinical, risk management and corporate compliance, and has successfully led numerous FDA and Notified Body audits without the issuance of a 483. Julie holds an AS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Military College. Bhavesh’s career spans executive leadership roles in e-commerce, big data analytics, mobile and B2B marketplaces. Prior to joining Outset Medical, Bhavesh built and led teams at Asurion, Walmart.com, TJMaxx.com and Ventro.com. Most recently, he served as Vice President at Asurion, leading the mobile and big data divisions. He successfully led and merged the newly acquired Tel Aviv based company and transformed the organization to adopt lean startup methodologies. At TJX, he built a multi-tenant e-commerce platform on which TJMaxx.com was launched successfully. During his time at Walmart.com, Bhavesh was responsible for developing all systems from front end website/mobile development to back end supply chain integration with 400+ vendors using automated inventory and order routing systems. Prior to Walmart.com, he developed the B2B e-commerce platform for Ventro (formerly Chemdex). Bhavesh received his undergraduate degree in Electronics engineering from NIT, Surat and MS in Computer Science from Temple University.
