MISSION “MAKING IT EASY TO FIND AND EXPERIENCE GOD” We’re fully aware that we are called to ‘take up our cross DAILY and follow Christ’ — and that it isn’t even the ‘taking up your cross’ part that is so tough -it’s the ‘daily’ part. While most churches will have the same general ‘mission’ and same general ‘purposes’, because those things are already given to us in Scripture, our church ‘values’ may be quite different from the church down the road. Praying, fasting, giving, singing, kneeling, bowing, meditating, journaling, sacrificing, and doing all those things that ascribe worth to God. Romans 12:1-2 – “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – His good, pleasing, and perfect will ” We do not cater to personal preference because we are not here exclusively for us. We exist for the world. We will do anything short of sin to reach people who do not know Christ. We are made in the image of the Ultimate Creator, so we create as He inspires. We consistently push toward excellence, turning imaginative ideas into reality. We do not just shake hands, we extend a hand and invite people to share life.
