– Orange Blossom Catering was built on tradition and family. Serving as one of the oldest caterers in the greater Tampa Bay area Orange Blossom was founded in 1953 by the Shamas family. Originating as a popular cafeteria The Orange Blossom was converted into a catering and banquet facility in 1985. Mr. Ed Shamas carried the family legacy through the turn of the millennium and after another nearly two decades, at age 73, he retired. Selling the business to Ryan and Anna Clelland in September of 2016. Ryan Clelland served as long time general manager under Ed Shamas. Ryan, a former executive chef, has many years of food and beverage experience as does Anna with an extensive background as a catering director for large country clubs.
With the hiring of Executive Chef, George Feneley, a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, the couple brings more experience and history to the business. Ryan Clelland trained under Feneley as a young chef and the duo competed in the 1992 IKA Culinary Olympics together in Frankfurt, Germany. As members of the United States Olympic team the duo proudly brought home a Gold Medal for cold food presentation. Chef Feneley brings to the table a vast culinary knowledge and talent.

I rarely write reviews, but the quality food and service delivered for our party exceeded my expectations of a catering service. Everyone I interacted with was professional and very thorough. The team arrived early, set up an impressive display of food, kept all of our guests full and happy, and efficiently cleaned up and boxed the remaining food. The food was delicious and contributed to a grey party. Thanks to Orange Blossom Catering for doing such a great job.
We attended a wedding that was catered by Orange Blossom Catering. The presentation was beautiful and the food was all quite fantastic. They did a wonderful job taking care of the bridal party and the immediate family as well. The next large party that we have will be catered by Orange Blossom Catering......Top notch!!!
