Opus Partners Can Point You in the Right Direction
Opus Partners' managing member, Daryl Sakol, is committed to providing the most professional guidance during a seller's divestiture. Mr. Sakol offers a historical perspective as a former seller, a former buyer and now as an intermediary. This allows sellers to benefit from Opus Partners' many years of transaction experience. "We understand what motivates, excites and concerns buyers, and recognize the areas critical to maximize valuation for sellers," Mr. Sakol comments.
Prior to forming Opus Partners, Mr. Sakol was associated with Affinity Ventures, a national mergers and acquisitions intermediary firm. At Affinity Ventures, Mr. Sakol was responsible for successfully completing a multitude of transactions for sellers of post-acute healthcare companies. Mr. Sakol also served as vice president of mergers and acquisitions for Home Medical of America, Inc., a national home medical equipment company. During his tenure, the company grew revenue through acquisitions from $30 million to $500 million. In 1988 he founded and served as president and CEO of National Rehab of Florida, Inc., a provider of specialty orthopedic home rehabilitation equipment.
In addition, Mr. Sakol served as regional vice president for Primedica, Inc., a national provider of infusion therapy and home medical equipment. At Primedica, he was responsible for the performance of six operating companies. Preceding an acquisition by Primedica, he was president and CEO of Respiratory Clinical Supplies, Inc., an early innovator in providing home infusion therapy, respiratory therapy services and home medical equipment.
Mr. Sakol began his career in the audit department of KPMG, one of the top four international accounting firms. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is an active member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Sakol received his BS degree with honors in Accountancy from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, in 1981.
