Optimum Sports Management is a Tampa-based sports agency with almost 15 years of experience in the business. We are very proud of our reputation, and realize it has been earned through hard work, but achieved with integrity every step of the way. As an athlete agent and attorney, Ken Harris and his staff offer the highest level of service in the profession, but with none of the added or hidden costs many firms charge. We have had extraordinary success in the Draft, pre-combine training, contract negotiations, marketing, public relations, and post-career planning. Our primary goal is to maintain the trust, loyalty, and close relationships we establish with each of our clients and their families. The business of sports representation covers a wide spectrum from newer less experienced firms, to over-sized “volume” firms. From the start, we set out to create a perfect balance to benefit our clients and their families first. So we combined the best of both worlds. We keep a smaller client list at all times in order to provide the most focused personal attention to each player, his training, preparation, contract negotiations, marketing, and PR. However, we possess the years of experience and league-wide respect that larger firms constantly tout. This includes a long and proven track record of success, experience, resources, and skill in the profession. While courting prospective clients, some agencies point out how large their firms are, and show client lists containing tens or hundreds of current clients to prove their point. We’re proud to say we intentionally restrict the number of clients we represent, so our clients never feel like they are just another name on an agency’s enormous list. This ensures each of our clients will always receive much more time and attention than the “volume” firms could ever provide. There is no substitute for close one-on-one support and communication. Simply put, some firms value quantity over quality because it helps their bottom line. We are more like a family, so our guys become priorities in our lives from the start.
