ONE SOURCE HAITI Helping vendors increase their capacity of + increasing business skills One Source works to alleviate poverty. One Source works with farmers, vendors, small business, woman and families to increase their capacity and business capabilities. Mission Statement One Source Haiti has a presence in Haiti with respected Haitian partners as well as a working relationship for almost five years, with families living on extremely small incomes. One Source is comprised of educators, scientists and the Université Notre Dame d’Haïti to build comprehensive plans that will provide improvement in farming and production. One Source helps bring these products to the market place. One Source works for agricultural improvement, environmental solutions and long-term economic benefits for families in Haiti. One Source strives to work within Haitian society to improve over- all living and working conditions, particularly in rural areas. We have access through our Haitian partners in technology to test soil, water, and climate conditions to provide solutions to water needs and practical organic ways to improve water holding capacity of soils to increase farm yields and prevent erosion. In all our efforts, One Source Haiti works for better environmental conditions, education and business development skills for the community and partnerships with Haitian individuals and organizations to match local skills with the project. One Source Haiti looks to the future for Haitian children and workers as well as strives to meet the needs of Haitian women in all spheres of activity: educational, business development, agricultural assistance and training. We plan and work for improved access to healthcare, expanding information and knowledge, developing business access and increasing income for women and their families.
