ORS’ mission is to combine our unprecedented expertise in NMR devices and transform dynamic technology into simple, easy to use units, suitable for challenging operational environments. To date, the company has developed a number of NMR analyzers for the commercial market including the MobiLab 130 series and the MobiLab BLS, used for bottled liquid screening at security checkpoints. ORS also provides custom-built instrumentation for high-profile partners and organizations including oil and gas exploration companies and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. ORS’ ultra-compact permanent magnet is a component of JPL’s proposed Titan Saturn System Mission. One Resonance Sensors own and operate two key facilities in the technology hub of San Diego, California, with extended leadership and partnerships across the globe. Prior to co-founding ORS, Dr. Prado held a number of senior leadership positions in the technology industry. He was previously Senior Manager and New Product Introduction Lead at GE, VP of System Development at T2 Biosystems, VP of Engineering at Quasar Federal Systems, and CTO at Progression, Inc. He is the inventor on 8 issued patents, has written 2 book chapters and 40 peer-reviewed articles. He also lectures regularly and has presented his work at more than 50 international conferences. Dr. Holifield holds the unique distinction of being a two-time recipient of the US Army’s Top Ten Inventions Award. Dr. Holifield has served as Uniformed Army Scientist to the US Central Command, with a senior position at the Army Research Laboratory and the Office of the Chief Scientist. Additionally, he was an Army Acquisition Program Management Officer and served as the Commander, 57th Ordnance Company (Explosive Ordnance Disposal). Today, Dr. Holifield is the owner and co-owner of more than ten companies, including Primal Innovation, of which he holds the position of Chief Technical Officer. He also has a Ph.D in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida. Mr. Lown is a specialist in the design and fabrication of precision permanent magnet assemblies. His work draws upon his Mechanical Engineering background and as well as his 30 years of experience in system development, permanent magnet design and development for NMR and MRI systems. Mr. Lown is an expert in custom 3D modeling, thermal analysis, structural design, manufacturing methods and has previously spearheaded whole-body MRI product engineering. Prior to joining One Resonance Sensors, he was the Engineer Manager at Dec-E-Tech, Field Effects, and Aster Enterprises.
