Brinda Mehta MS, OTR/L is the owner of OM Therapy LLC. She received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at Barry University. Ms. Mehta is a Sensory Integration Praxis Test certified therapist (SIPT), trained to administer SIPT evaluations. She has experience working in a variety of settings including Nursing home, outpatient facilities, schools, and home with Adults and children. Her primary focus and passion is working with pediatric population. Ms. Mehta has supervised and worked with children in need of Occupational therapy with various conditions/diagnosis including but not limited to Autism, Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Gross Motor/Fine Motor delay and more. Our philosophy at OM Therapy is to provide children with therapy and improve their quality of life in order to increase independence with everyday activities. Our primary focus is to achieve maximum potential independence in home and/or school environment by providing therapy to children via play and Activities of Daily Living (ADL) training. Our Experienced and compassionate therapists are constantly seeking to gain more knowledge via continuing education courses to implement innovative and successful intervention strategies. We are constantly enhancing our quality of service via educating parents, family, caregivers as well providing in-service at schools and day cares.
