We can screen production strains to select a cell line that will efficiently provide the best possible expression of your drug substance. We develop processes to take advantage of methods, such as high cell density fermentation, to increase product yield and manufacture the best quality product in the most efficient way possible. In creating a manufacturing process suitable for cGMP production, our process scientists take a modular, to develop optimal fermentation and product recovery processes, as well as downstream purification steps. The company was founded in 1999 as an integrated biopharmaceutical company with a focus on development and manufacturing as well as having expertise in preclinical and clinical development, formulation optimization, and cGMP manufacturing of biopharmaceutical products and medical devices. The 10-year, $400+ million contract had a base period goal for the construction of an 183,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art, BSL-3, single-use facility that the company now occupies and operates. Ology Bio recently developed and acquired proprietary platform technologies that are used in the production of biologic products including proteins, monoclonal antibodies, and vaccines.
