About Our Business It all started in 1964, when Hurricane Dora came through and destroyed many parts of Jacksonville. My father, Jerry Odom, was a fireman at the time for the Jacksonville Fire Department, but once Dora hit he saw opportunity and started Odom's Tree Service. The company quickly grew by our reputation of providing great and personalized services to residential areas. As the residential side grew, so did the commercial side, thus the formation of Odom�s Beaches Tree Service in 1992. With the expansion of the business now under my control, I stood by the goals of my fathers company. We started out by completing jobs in gated communities, golf courses, and other areas. The hard work we put in showed, because soon individual homeowners were asking for our services. As of now we do all types of projects around the beach, and sometimes in the Jacksonville area. Today, it is still our goal to give you the best tree service at a reasonable price. We want to prove to you that we are the best tree business. We are knowledgeable in the state of Florida tree regulations as well as the tree ordinances of Duval and surrounding counties, including our beaches. We are equipped to handle storm damage clean up, removal of trees that are or can become a hazard to your property, caring for or removing diseased trees, tree canopy thinning for light filtration, and tree maintenance to keep your trees healthy and beautiful in appearance.
