Committed Business Partners United for Service In the mid-1980s, the North Suburban Chamber of Commerce, a business organization serving 13 communities in the Woburn area Route 128/Interstate 95 corridor created a Military Affairs Council (MAC) dedicated to fostering and preserving a crucial relationship between business, local communities and the Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB) community. The Clay Buchholz Foundation was created by Red Sox pitcher and his wife, Lindsay, in March 2013, to provide health, educational and sports opportunities to improve the lives of children in need.
