Who We Are Oak and Shield started in 2014 by investing in quality, affordable housing that generated consistent returns for its investors and enriched communities. As we have grown our portfolio, these goals hav e remained at the core of who we are and why we exist. Eric is the lead investor and manager at Oak & Shield for a portfolio of real estate ranging from single-family homes to multifamily complexes. Prior to co-founding Oak & Shield, Eric worked at Florida Hospital in finance. His core competencies lie in problem solving, developing ideas, finding and building value, financial modeling, project management, and investor relations. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Walla Walla University in southeastern Washington.​ Taylor has worked in real estate for more than four years and worked in finance for six years. In addition to co-founding Oak & Shield, Taylor is employed by Florida Hospital where he currently works as a Senior Finance Manager. Taylor has expertise in financial modeling, strategic planning, and project management. He is passionate about helping the disadvantaged and finding innovative ways to share his faith. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee.​ Jeff has worked in real estate for 34 years in various capacities. He is currently developing a 25 acre urban infill property in Northern California as Managing Member of TSVGP LLC. The property has 387 apartment units and a neighborhood grocery-anchored retail center with 85,000 square feet.  Jeff is also the Managing Member for Oakmont Retirement Communities which developed 15 assisted living buildings totaling almost 1,500 units. They continue to own 581 units. Previously, Jeff worked as CFO of Gallaher Companies, a real estate development business. While there, he helped develop a retail shopping center with 140,000 square feet and just over 400 single family homes. Jeff received a Bachelor of Accounting and is a CPA.
