As Vice President for Operations, Julia Austin oversees day-to-day operations in the supply chain, quality, manufacturing, service and support functions. Julia has held several key roles at NRG since starting with the company in 1991, including Sales Manager and Technical Services Manager. Through her leadership of the service and support teams, she helped establish NRG’s exceptional service standards. Julia’s career has been a mix of business and technology experience ranging from supporting rapid growth to aligning operational capabilities with product diversification. With 25+ years in the renewable energy industry and extensive knowledge of NRG’s customers and operations, she helps define and meet company strategic goals. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont, and enjoys backcountry snowboarding, mountain biking, multihull sailing, and music. . Greg has a long history with NRG: he established the first formal sales and marketing department in the 1990s. He recently returned in 2013 to help grow the company.
