Nolan Industrial Batteries, Inc. was founded in May 1979, by Robert C. Nolan, Sr. in Jefferson, LA. Initially, the focus of the business was the sale and service of industrial batteries for motive power applications In 1985, bolstered by their success and wanting to diversify beyond motive power batteries, Nolan Industrial Batteries, Inc. entered into the stationary battery market. In addition to the motive power division, the company began operating as a manufacturer representative and a distributor of standby power products. After more than 20 years in the business, Robert C Nolan, Sr. made the decision to split the motive power division from the rest of the company. On January 1, 2001, he redeemed their stock back to the company and his son, Robert C. Nolan, Jr. (“Bobby”) was left as the sole shareholder of Nolan Industrial Batteries, Inc. The Nolan Power Leadership Team consists of a group of senior managers who recognize the importance of a corporate culture strongly grounded in providing products and services that first meet our customer’s needs while at the same time striving to be the premier provider of stationary power reliability in the Gulf Coast region. This is the philosophy by which Bobby Nolan strives to lead. Having worked at Nolan Power Group in increasing roles of responsibility throughout his professional career, Bobby took over the role of CEO in 2002. Prior to working for the company, he attended Louisiana State University where he obtained his Bachelors of Science Degree in Business. With nearly 30 years of experience in the business, Bobby keeps his finger on the pulse of the stationary power market. Nolan Power’s high performing, specialist teams and Bobby’s passion for mentoring the next generation of leaders are key factors in Nolan Power Group’s ability to help customers be more profitable and safe through increased reliability. Bobby enjoys the challenge of servicing customers who need everything from applications engineering to installation services and preventative maintenance services. He strives to motivate his teams to continually raise the bar on service and products. Roger joined Nolan Power Group in March 2004 as the newly formed Texas Division Manager. He remained in this position until he was appointed VP of Sales in 2012. Prior to joining Nolan Power Group, Roger has worked in various roles of increased responsibilities in the industry since 1986. Roger received his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Kentucky in 1990 and his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Villanova University in 1985. Nolan Power’s Director of Technical Services, Bryan Dardar, has been with the company for the past 15 years and has taken on many roles along the way. Bryan has a strong background in the electrical field with extensive knowledge of DC Systems and Battery Capacity Testing. He is a troubleshooting guru, has performed over 4,000 Capacity Tests and often provides technical assistance for Nolan Power customers. Through his thorough approach to work and with his professional and knowledgeable attitude, Bryan is a valued mentor to employees, encouraging their development and professional growth. With Bryan’s support, our technicians perform at the premier level that Nolan Power has become known for in the Gulf Region. Director of Business Development John Todora, our Director of Business Development, spent fifteen years in the ultra-high purity instrumentation industry, both in sales and marketing, before joining Nolan Power Group as a sales representative in 2004. At Nolan, John managed the Florida Division for six years before moving to Texas, where he used his extensive sales and marketing experience to create a high functioning Business Development arm for the company.
