When I founded NIBA Designs in 2005, I was focused on solving a very real problem in the rug design business. Most rug companies carried large inventories of dated-looking designs, and worse, offered minimal customer service. There was nowhere designers could go to find the variety of beautiful designs they wanted, with the kind of personal service they needed. And so, NIBA Designs was born. We also offer a wide array of in-stock options—all created to the same exacting standards as our custom designed rugs, and based on the same portfolio of designs. So if your needs are immediate, we are ready to help. And now, we are proud to offer our new, beautifully embroidered bed, bath and table linen collections—created to coordinate perfectly with our rug designs.  We use the finest quality Italian fabrics and towels, for a truly luxurious feel. Fabrics and wallcoverings will also be available soon. Continual development of new fibers and techniques is very important to us. Our close personal relationships with our factories contributes greatly to new product development. We visit each factory once a year, and work hand in hand with the owners and their staff. (formerly known as RugMark) to ensure that there is no child labor used in the manufacturing of our rugs. By developing strong personal relationships with our factories, we are able to deliver superior service and excellent lead times. In return, we keep the ancient traditions of rug-making alive while keeping people employed and offering help in countries of great need.
