NIGHT OF ASIA, INC., founded in 2012 by dedicated volunteers from corporate Asian employee resource groups and community organizations, initially aimed to support victims of Typhoon Sendong through a cultural festival. This event successfully raised over $45,000 in just 30 days for the relief efforts, far exceeding expectations. The festival's popularity surged, resulting in sold-out events in its second and third years, with attendance more than doubling each year. In 2014, Night of Asia transitioned into a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status, expanding its mission beyond fundraising to building awareness about Asian culture, offering community support, and strengthening Northeast Florida's cross-cultural relationships.
