Founded in 2010 by friends Nick Stilwell and Regas Woods after their encounter at Nick's prosthetic fitting, the Never Say Never Foundation, Inc., is a dedicated non-profit organization based in Ocala, Florida. Their mission arose from a joint desire to help amputees, especially children and young adults, tackle life with positivity and resilience. The foundation has made a name for itself by funding disabled athletes' participation across various sports, particularly extreme sports. They focus on providing essential equipment such as running blades and specialized prosthetics, enabling wider access to sporting opportunities. Since its beginnings, the foundation has distributed over 60 running blades and continues to support around 1,000 adaptive athletes each year through their popular Never Say Never Adaptive Sports Camps in the U.S. Beyond sports sponsorships, they create supportive communities via events like an annual camp for children with limb differences, offering a nurturing environment alongside activities and peer connections. As a certified 501(c)(3) non-profit, the foundation seeks to empower youth by championing inclusivity and resilience.
