WHO WE ARE: Netta Architects K-12 Educational Studio, under the leadership of Larry Uher, RA., AIA., brings over 20 years of master planning, programming to our clients in the K-12 industry. Supported by a passionate staff of architects, Netta Architects aims to create educational environments that are responsive to the curriculum, integrated into the educational programming and efficient for the faculty and staff educational specification, facility improvement, and architectural design services. Netta Architects K-12 Studio offers a full range of integrated services. As an extension of our vast experience working with New Jersey K – 12 school districts, we have a complete under-standing and knowledge of the NJDOE project application process. Weather a ROD (Regular Operating District) or SDA school district, our long-standing experience working with NJDOE is exceptional. Larry Uher assisted over 20 school districts with the completion of an original 2005 LRFP submission and their subsequent updates. Our team also possesses extensive experience working with local code officials and with the DCA’s code review process. Within the DCA, the division of Codes and Standards Public Schools Plan Review and Inspection Unit coordinates code review for New Jersey’s public school districts. Or knowledge of the DCA’s requirements and expectations streamlines the code review process, allowing the project to remain on schedule. Many capital improvement school projects require, allowing the project to remain on schedule. Many capital improvement school projects require NJDEP application submission and permitting. Whether related to the site or building type environmental issues, our team’s experience with NJDEP protocols has resulted in a multitude of successful public sector projects. Our extensive experience with public K-12 school districts and projects has to provide Netta Architects with a wealth of experience and knowledge related to coordination with building owners and contractors. Whether dealing with a single prime contractor, multiple trades or several different projects simultaneously, we have the expertise to fully supervise the entire process. We understand the importance of keeping projects on schedule and the difficulties that sometimes arise when dealing with contractor, subcontractors, weather related issues delay with material deliveries, etc.
