Nemours hires production companies to produce video programs on these topics which it then offers to consumers through different video distributors. Although Nemours has done seminars in the past, the company realizes that its video programs are far more effective and continue to be a better way to reach its global customer base. One philosophy that founder Scott duPont has been adamant about since the inception of Nemours is that the programs must be entertaining as well as educational. "I ordered a Nemours acting video through a 3rd party vendor on the internet and unfortunately my videotape had a small crack in it caused by shipping. I called the Nemours Marketing office at  8:00pm (which was actually 11:00pm eastern time) and I got a Nemours representative who was working late that night. After I explained my situation, Melissa (my representative) promptly offered to ship me a brand new video the very next day.
